I'm Don Berkich, professor of philosophy at a southern regional mid-size (R2) university.

To be clear, this site is very much under development, although ideally it will evolve. At this point it is but a shell.

Many academics have their own websites, some affiliated and some not, like this one.

My intention in building this site is to engage fellow scholars, students past and present, and contribute in some small way to philosophy and--because philosophy is a slow, deeply important conversation spanning millennia--a bit to the slow-web movement.
