  • Examination IV

Today is the fourth and last of our in-class examinations. I will provide any paper you need. As before, you are allowed to bring one hand-written two-sided 4-inch by 6-inch note-card.

Examination IV Outline

Without specifying the question or questions asked about each case analysis, this examination consists of essay questions on the following five cases, which I've listed in no particular order. Since the examination is worth 400 points, each questionw will be worth 80 points. Thus each essay will be a high-value exploration of the moral normative dimensions of the following moral dilemmas in light of all the moral normative theories we have been considering this semester.

  • Sebastian's Demise
  • Familial Favors
  • Tied to the Track
  • The Power Behind the Drone
  • Fix the Cause or Treat the Effect?

Finally, please note that there is a 40pt extra credit question concluding the examination.
